ELIZABETH MOULE, Partner

Elizabeth Moule received her Bachelors of Art from Smith College, attended the Institute for Architecture and Urban Studies, and obtained her Masters degree in Architecture from Princeton University. She is a founding partner of Moule & Polyzoides, Architects and Urbanism and a registered Architect in the State of California.

Ms. Moule’s distinguished career involves architecture, urbanism, real estate development, teaching, writing and civic involvement. She is a co-founder of the Congress for the New Urbanism (CNU), and an Emeritus Board Member. Ms. Moule has led the design of a series of the firm’s key architectural commissions, including the Robert Redford Building, the West Coast headquarters for the NRDC in Santa Monica, California; the Robert Redford Building is rated as one of the greenest buildings in the world with a LEED Platinum rating. Among numerous other projects are the design of the Arabian Canal Neighborhoods, for Dubai, the United Arab Emirates; the restoration and design of new housing for the Vista del Arroyo bungalows in Pasadena, California; and the reconstruction effort following Hurricane Katrina for Biloxi, Mississippi.

Ms. Moule, with her partner, is a Seaside Prize recipient for 1998, the most prestigious national award in the field of urbanism.
